Identify the party
A company, a prospective partner, a supplier, or a commercial opportunity — together with the purpose of the search.
→Research and due diligence
Balanced legal and commercial research that helps you frame the right questions before a partnership, an investment or a contract.
The idea
The aim is not to pass judgement on anyone; it is to know what you actually know before you commit.
Most commercial losses do not arise from a badly drafted contract, but from a counterparty who was never properly known before signature. The difference between information and impression is the difference between a calculated decision and a gamble.
So this work rests on a single rule: everything stated in the report has a named source, and anything without one is classified as professional judgement or as unknown — never as fact.
The path
A company, a prospective partner, a supplier, or a commercial opportunity — together with the purpose of the search.
→A review of registries and lawfully available information, recording every source as it stands.
→Balanced notes that separate fact, indication, judgement, and the unknown.
→A sourced summary that prepares you for the next step, or to reconsider it.
Levels of depth
The depth is chosen according to the size of what you are putting on the table, not according to a fixed price list.
Initial verification
Confirming that the entity exists, its legal identity and its stated particulars, and noting what appears about it in direct public sources.
Suited to a first dealing of limited value, or to screening between several parties.
Deeper background
Widening the search to ownership, management and stated activity, the available public records, and commercial reputation as it appears in its sources.
Suited to an ongoing agreement, a partnership, or the grant of representation or exclusivity.
A decision reading
Connecting the findings to your contractual position: which risks can be addressed by drafting, which need security, and which cannot be addressed and should therefore be avoided.
Suited to an investment, a long-term commitment, or a substantial transaction.
The scope of each level, its duration and its fees are set once the party to be researched, the purpose and the jurisdiction are known.
Limits of the work
This is not a credit rating service and not a regulatory body. Its limits are stated in advance:
The report is a decision tool in your hands; assessing the risk and accepting it remains your decision. The other services
