Services

Law that keeps pace
with business.

Four connected areas. A single matter may need more than one of them, and we say so from the outset.

01

Legal advisory

A written opinion or a guided conversation that turns an unclear question into clear options with their consequences.

Typically includes

  • Reading the legal position and identifying the available options
  • Assessing the risk attached to each option
  • Ordering priorities and the next practical step
  • Reviewing an existing document or position before you commit to it

When it fits

When you need a decision rather than a memorandum: what the options are, and what each one costs.

02

Business and contracts

Drafting and reviewing the contractual relationship so that it expresses the commercial bargain itself, not a ready-made template.

Typically includes

  • Drafting commercial contracts and agreements
  • Reviewing a contract put to you and identifying its critical clauses
  • Contract arbitration, and termination, liability and dispute resolution provisions
  • Registering companies of all types in Jordan, including free zone and offshore entities
  • Company liquidation and ordering the obligations that follow from it

When it fits

When building a new relationship, or before signing a text drafted by the other side.

03

Cross-border advisory

Legal and commercial coordination for opportunities where reading a single market or a single legal system is not enough.

Typically includes

  • Reading the international opportunity from its legal and commercial angles
  • Identifying the questions that require local advice in the other jurisdiction
  • Supporting preparation for talks and negotiations with foreign parties
  • Ordering documents and obligations across several parties

When it fits

When a party to the transaction, or one of its assets, sits outside Jordan.

04

Due diligence and research

Structured legal and commercial research ahead of a partnership or a contract, with stated sources and clear limits.

Typically includes

  • Background checks on a company or counterparty, and assessing a prospective partner or supplier
  • Business information reports across the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Europe
  • Partnership and directorship reports on entities registered in Jordan
  • Site visits to verify a place of business within Jordan
  • Verifying an individual's particulars or credentials on their written consent or a stated legal basis
  • A sourced summary that separates fact from indication from the unknown

When it fits

Before signing a substantial agreement, committing funds, or granting representation or exclusivity.

The scope of each service, the time it takes and its fees are set after the matter is understood, not before. And where a matter falls outside this practice, or needs another specialisation or advice in another jurisdiction, we say so directly rather than take it on.

Due diligence has its own page setting out the method, the sources, and the limits of what can lawfully be reached. Read the research method
